The Belgian First Division A (also known as the Jupiler Pro League) features eighteen teams. The competition is played on a promotion/relegation system, and teams compete in various stages. The top eight teams in the standings advance to the playoffs, with the ninety-fifth teams relegated to the First Division B. The other top-tier teams play in the Pro League. The Belgian Pro League season began on 27 July 2013 and ended on 18 May 2014 with Anderlecht winning its 33rd title.
